List Sefa - Faculty Student Council

List Sefa: Personal, Passionate, Progressive

In 2013 List Sefa joins the FSR elections once again, to defend the interests of the students at the faculty we have been involved in for so many years.

List Sefa originates from the study association Sefa, which has a long history at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at the University of Amsterdam (UvA). Since 1922 Sefa has been open to every student at our faculty and has been dedicated to their interests. This long relationship with the students makes List Sefa the perfect candidate for the Faculty Student Council (FSR).

List Sefa is fully aware of what students encounter while studying at the FEB; what the difficulties are and what makes a student’s life flourish. Today, Sefa gives you many opportunities to make the most of your student life. There are social, academic, career and international activities you can organize or take part in to enrich your life as a student.

Now in the FSR we actively defend your interests! The FSR is a governing body of the faculty representing the students. It consists of eight students who all have a specific portfolio. In the Council, our goals are your goals – our five basic principles are closely aligned with your desires for improvement, namely:

• High quality education prevails
• Less money does not equal less quality
• Vision on education
• Simple over complex
• The faculty as a part of your life and enriching your life

Currently, five out of eight spots in the FSR are occupied by List Sefa members. We would like to continue with communicating your needs and wants to the university!
