About the International Development Project
Sefa has formed a strategic alliance with Foundation de Pellikaan. De Pellikaan stimulates development projects by young people from different cultural backgrounds in order to let them experience the value of intercultural cooperation. The foundation provides advice and financial support and makes her netwerk available to participants. The foundation is continually looking for sponsors, for young people interested in intercultural experience, and companies and organisations that need enthousiastic young people for executing international, idealistic projects.
Waste Management
The International Development Project 2012 focusses on the waste management problem in India. The committee is going to form a business model and try to involve companies and people in India in order to manage the waste in India on a small scale. Last summer three members from Sefa did research in India and come up with two business models as possible solutions to the waste management problem. The committee wil provide the follow up by travelling to India for four weeks and implement these solutions. When the trip is over the post-project assistance part of the project will start and create awareness for the project and de Pellikaan with publicity.
