Terms and Conditions of International Week

1. Information: The International Week (hereafter called “IW”) shall make every effort to ensure that the information contained in the descriptions of the project is as precise and accurate as possible. However, IW shall not be liable for any errors or omissions that may appear.

2. Commitment of Good Faith: The IW project shall facilitate the IW exchange and therefore the IW project will do the very best.

3. IW Price: The price that needs to be paid by the participant as a contribution to Sefa is 35 euros. Besides this contribution all costs regarding airplane/train/bus and additional travel-tickets to the destination of the IW are for the account of participants. Also additional costs that occur outside the content of the organized program of the particular IW will be for the participant’s account. No refund or reduction for the cancellation of the travel expenses will be given by Sefa when the participant is not able to join the IW anymore and cancellation of the travel is necessary. Also Sefa will not be responsible for any expenses made by the participant if a particular IW will be cancelled or decides not to accept the applicant for their program.

4. Registration IW: The application for an IW is voluntarily. Based on a motivation letter and curriculum vitae applicants are invited for an interview. Sefa will decide after the interview whether to accept or reject an applicant and will forward their application to the particular IW-committee. It is the committee of the particular IW that eventually decides whether the applicant can participate with the IW-program or not. Sefa cannot be held accountable for accepting or declining applicants for an IW. From the moment the applications are send to the committee of the particular IW, Sefa will not carry any responsibility for the selection and the process that goes along with it.

5. Program IW: The program of any particular IW will be established by the committee of this particular IW. This program will include all activities organized by the particular IW. The particular IW will cover the days as announced by Sefa. It is recommended for the participant to be present at the destination for the full day of the first till the last day of the program. Sefa is not involved in the decision-making regarding the program of the particular IW. Sefa therefore cannot be held accountable for any activities included in the program neither for any adjustments of the program.

6. Buddy System: When participating in the IW, the project will stay in contact with the people that are send abroad in order to appoint them as a buddy during the IW of Amsterdam.
