Are you interested in developing your skills and gaining practical experience next to your study? Sefa offers you the chance to distinguish yourself. Our committees cover four different pillars: Academic, Career, International and Social. Each pillar gives you unique learning possibilities in the field of your choice. Read on for more information about the committees you can currently apply for.

Recruitment September

In September we will have our first recruitment period of the academic year 2014-2015. It will be possible to join committees such as the Sefa Conference, Sefa Social Consulting Group, International Week, Room for Discussion, Rostra Economica, Master Study Clubs, Sefa Store and the Sefa Almanac. For first year students, the As Good As New (A.G.A.N.) committee is available.

Become an active member!
All of our 65 yearly activities are organised by our active members, a group of around 260 students of which you can also be a part of! Organising one of our activities by joining a committee is a great experience. You will work in a team of motivated and ambitious students, doing things you will never hear about in the lecture room.

Your personal development
Develop your organisational and communicative skills in one of Sefa’s committees. As a member of a team, each person is responsible for one part of the organisation of a high quality event or project. Become experienced in how to manage projects at several levels and for different positions.

Make yourself at home at the faculty and in Amsterdam
You will be invited for all events that Sefa organises during the year. Get to know the faculty and enjoy the facilities that Sefa has to offer you in the committee rooms and outside of it. Discover the nicest places in Amsterdam by participating in our various events and activities.

If you are interested in becoming an active member, you can contact Nicky Caron (HR-Officer) by sending an email to or walk by our office in MS.05 (Plantage Muidergracht 12). Regardless of the application period, we are always pleased to have a chat about your committee preferences and ambitions.
