Alumni Drink December 2011

On December 16 the first Alumni drink was organised at Café Kale de Grote. Several years this drink was organised by Tempo Doeloe, but since the beginning of this year Sefa has its own Committee which organises the Alumni activities.

Many Sefa members and former Sefa members got together to catch up with each other. For the first time students which are enrolled in their Master’s track were invited to visit the Alumni Drink. The combination of former Sefa members and current members in their Master’s track will be the concept for the coming Alumni activities, with the objective to tighten and strengthen the bond between (former) members and Sefa.

Former Board Day July 2011

A fine tradition that is kept in honour every year: the Former Boards Day. This time it is held in Hotel Arena. Why is it such a fine tradition? It is a special event once a year where former board members of Sefa and her predecessors come together to meet each other but also to learn the latest news about Sefa. Traditionally, the Alumni committee kicks off with a presentation of the alumni events of the year, followed by the presentation of the present Sefa board. It is their podium to celebrate success and the experience of being a Sefa board member after one year. This is followed by an introduction of the new board members for the coming year. After the presentations we enjoyed a lovely dinner and some drinks celebrating warm memories of carefree student days. 

Former Board Day June 2010

Several years this event took place in the Amsterdam Academic Club in the historic centre of Amsterdam. 
During this Former Board Day we also celebrated a historical attendance rate of just below 40 people. After the presentations of the alumni committee, the present and the new board we enjoyed a lovely dinner and some drinks.Nice to know is that SEF board members (predecessors of Sefa) of the eighties where also present. This proofs the unique and timeless bonds of our alumni members across generations.
