Dear student,

At Sefa, we are committed to provide great opportunities for students at the UvA’s Faculty of Economics and Business. As study association for the whole faculty, we employ services and activities for students of all years and disciplines. This results in a portfolio of 60 yearly activities, all organized by our active members who participate in a committee.

Through their efforts, these active members reap benefits that they could not have acquired by studying alone. By organizing a project, you develop skills such as professional communication and project management. You also learn to be persistent and bring difficult challenges to a good end, all together with your team.

However, we also offer some great advantages for non-active members, more information on memberships can be found on this page. As chairman of this year’s board, I urge you to take full advantage of all the things you can do in addition to your study, and I know from experience that Sefa can make a meaningful contribution to it!
