1. Do you have to be a member of Sefa in order to buy books and/or summaries?

With a (free) basic membership at Sefa, you can buy your books without discount in our Sefa Store and can not buy summaries.

With a (paid) premium membership at Sefa, you can order your books with discount (5% – 17%) in our Sefa Store or online in our webshop. You can also buy summaries in the Sefa Store.

2. When is the Sefa Store open?

Monday: 13:00- 17:00 ; Tuesday- Friday: 10:00- 17:00

3. Does the Sefa Store know which books I need?

It is your own responsibility to know which books you need. You can find this in the Studiegids/Course catalogue. The Sefa Store only knows which books are available.

4. Do I get a discount?

Only if you are a premium member at Sefa, you get up to 17 percent discount on your books. For more information regarding premium membership, click here.

5. Can I pay with cash?

No, you can only pay by PIN.

6. Can I return a book?

You can return a book within 8 days, undamaged (in the original state) and with the receipt. Without this receipt it is impossible to return a book. Summaries cannot be returned.

7. What if a book is not available?

When a book is sold out, we will try to reorder it as soon as possible. For the status of a book you can check our bookpage.

8. What to do if a summary is not there?

We do not sell for every subject a summary. At this moment we only sell summaries for Economics and Business and partly for second year Economics & Business.

9. Does the Sefa Store sell Syllabi?

No we do not sell them. You can download or print them at the UvA. You can find more information here.
